The Magic of Serendipity

People often think of serendipity as discovering something they are not seeking, of finding interesting or valuable things by chance, of being capable of seeing patterns that others do not see.

Ironically, it is highly credited in the biographies of the great inventors and scientists, who one would assume would subscribe to a more material reductionist mindset.

Serendipity might seem contraindicated in a book on the inner journey, since it is about mining external forces, but nevertheless, I have seen how ‘happy accidents’ and coincidences have shaped my life…
